About DzalekaPay

How DzalekaPay helps camp merchants accept payments, sell tickets, raise funds, and cash out.

DzalekaPay is payments infrastructure for commerce and community work in Dzaleka Refugee Camp, Malawi. Registered stores accept mobile money, and MWK bank transfer or card where those methods are enabled. Organizations sell event tickets and run public fundraising campaigns. Every collection, payout, refund, ticket, and donation is recorded against the store ledger.

The product is built around Airtel Money and TNM Mpamba, which people in Malawi already use. Merchants share one checkout link. Payers do not create an account. Settled funds can be cashed out to mobile money or, when enabled, a Malawian bank account.

DzalekaPay is not a bank, mobile-money operator, personal wallet, remittance provider, or foreign-exchange service. Regulated payment providers move the money. DzalekaPay provides checkout pages, receipts, dashboards, KYC, and reconciliation.
